My birthDAy + 10,000 + Pictures

I just realized that yesterday marked my first year here on dA! Which makes yesterday my first dA birthday

I can't believe it! Time went by so fast! dA still seems so fresh to me

On top of that, I noticed that I've reached 10,000 pageviews! This makes me very happy. Hooray for five digits!

It took me a while, but I knew I'd get there eventually

I would like to say thanks to everyone who has made my first year here on dA so memorable. I've learned many new things here, and even made some friends. I've gotten a lot of feedback (well, more than I expected anyway) from other artists here, and they helped me see the good and bad things about my art. True, this is only a hobby of mine, but its one of the things that make my life more enjoyable. Hopefully I'll meet more people and find more artists who will continue to inspire me to improve my art.

So to everyone who has been part of my first 365 days here on this site, I'd like to say THANK YOU!

I'm still extremely busy these days. But I've managed to play Mario Kart Wii a couple of times. I've finished the 50cc and 100cc, but I'm having a hard time with the 150cc... I usually get 2nd place in the end ... its so frustrating!

My passion for piano has also been re-ignited!

I don't have much time to practice, but I always find some way to squeeze in a few minutes everyday.

Anyway, today Kurt (my sister's boyfriend) and Lix (Kurt's sister) came over. We basically played Mario Kart Wii all day. But we also had a mini-photoshoot

Lix was so much fun to dress up. She's like a little doll

_{Lol! Lix is trying to be emo ^____^ She's actually Kurt's half-sister. They have the same mother, but Lix's dad is Japanese. She lives in Japan while Kurt lives in California with his dad}

I only got a few decent shots of Lix and my sister since Kurt kept trying to make them laugh!

My sister also asked me to take some pictures of her and Kurt. His vacation's almost over, and he'll be going home soon. I tried to get some sweet pictures of them, but Kurt had other ideas

Anyway, I had a lot of fun with them

I hope we can do it again before they leave ^____^

For this week's feature, I chose Watermelons! I love the combination of pink and green (or red and green ... however you picture watermelons). Plus, my sister gave me another watermelon KitKat last night, so this gave me the idea.
