New CSS + Ai Nante + Puppies + FF8

I finally found some time to create a new journal CSS, yay!   I've been extremely busy the past week.

I would like to repeat that I am obsessed with FF8 again.  This was verified by an incident a few days ago:

I was already on disc2, playing it on my PSP.  I got the game from my cousin way back in March I think.  But I didn't want to start playing then since I knew I would get addicted.  And of course I found out I was right

I had about 15hours of game time already when all of a sudden, my game hangs!  I did everything, I restarted it, reloaded the game from my laptop, screamed at my PSP ... nothing worked ...

Then i remembered that my cousin warned me that the game would not work properly if I didn't load the proper file in.  So I checked in my external hard drive, and hooray!~  It seemed that he also gave me a copy of the correct file~  ... or so I thought.

After loading this file in, the game no longer recognized my saved file!  15 hours of gaming down the drain??!  So I tried everything again ... I kept reloading the game, going on forums online, buzzing my offline cousin, and shaking my PSP ... nada!  By midnight I was getting desperate (and sleepy ...).  I figured that was just it ... I made a mistake, and it can't be corrected.  And so I started again ... from disc1 ... goodbye 15hours ...

Or not ...

The next morning the first thing I did was checked if I had any offline message from my cousin.  And I did ...

"<ding>"


That was it???  After my multiple offline whinings??  Oh noes!  The world is a cruel place!   And so I began another series of whiny offline messages ... and surprise surprise!  He was there!  "Invincible to everyone" ^____^

After sending me the Popsloader (again ... because I was too lazy to get it from my other laptop ) and some step by step instructions on what I should do ... he had officially become my hero (again)!   Hello FF8 disc2!






Anyway I've been adjusting to my schedule for this semester.  The first two weeks were hell!  But I think I got the hang of it now.  The first few weeks are always difficult.  I'm still very disorganized right now, but at least my mind's clearing up a little.



It was also my dad's 60th birthday last week.  So that was mainly what threw me off-balance.  We've been preparing for his party for a while now.  My mom assigned me to make two surprise video presentations for him.  One was a slideshow of his pictures starting from when he was young, and another was a compilation of video greetings from our relatives in the states.  We secretly taped their messages to my dad while we were there on vacation two months ago.  But I've been too lazy to edit it for the past two months and ended up just doing it a few days before his party



I've also been hooked on Final Fantasy 8 again!  It's partly my boyfriend's fault (but still mostly mine, hehe ).  He's never played it before and I've been bugging him to play it for a long time now.  Then last week he decided to start playing.  So while he's playing on the Playstation, I started playing it on the PSP.  And now I'm addicted again!   Which is probably another reason why my last week was just a mess



Btw, to my fellow NEWS fans, have you guys heard Thomas Godoj's cover of Ai Nante?  _{I'm sorry if this is old news, I just heard about it now, hahaha} He's the guy who won season5 of German's Pop Idol (I think).  He sung an English version of the song, titled "I Don't Feel the Same".  My sister just told me about it now.  It's pretty good   Did he have permission from Johnny's to sing it?

For this week's features, I chose Puppies.  I love puppies.  Our dog had 6 of them last December.  We only planned to keep one of them and sell the rest.  But we ended up keeping 3 because they're all so cute

So here are my selection for the week.  Again, most of these are under 100 faves, so if you find something you like, inform the artist   But I included about 3 or 4 pieces that are already pretty popular.  I couldn't help myself, they were just too adorable to not be featured just because they're already popular
